Representation of Individuals:


Cases for individuals (non-businesses) are rarely accepted on a pure contingency fee basis. Strong cases with insurance coverage are accepted on a contingency-fee basis, and weaker cases are accepted on a modified contingency-fee basis, with the client paying part of the fee monthly as invoiced and part of the fee upon collection of settlement funds from an opposing party.   One hour of free consultation.  $250.00 for document review before acceptance of a case.   $250.00 per hour for all work after initial document review.  First time individual clients might be asked to pay an evergreen retainer fee of up to  $5,000.00, based upon ability to pay and the perceived strength of the case.


Casino Personal Injury Cases:


Step One:  Limited Legal Services Agreement:  $500.00 for telephone consultations and preparation of a demand letter and claim-evidence hold letter to the casino and any other required entities.  


Optional Step Two:  Possible acceptance of the case on (a) a straight contingency or on (b) a modified contingency where part of the fee is paid monthly and part is paid if and when there is a recovery.


Mr. Arnold has possibly filed more personal injury claims against Indian tribes, in tribal courts, than any other practitioner of tribal law.

Our typical clients are surety companies, insurance companies, and reinsurance companies.  We also represent construction companies, banks, and other corporations and LLCs.

Hour Rates:   $400 for document review before acceptance of a case. $400.00 per hour for each hour actually worked, broken up into quarter-hour segments.  First time clients pay an evergreen retainer fee of $10,000.00.
